I agree it is an "each to his own " sort of thing,The questions do get old,but then again,if no one noticed or ask,that would be REALLY old,, .
My personal opinion,if I had a 427 stroked small block,I would run 427,other wise I would use the 289 style badges and dress my motor to look like a 289 hi po,I think that would be fun,what a sleeper,and if every one thinks the car is a 427,they expect it to run like a top fuel car,,lol
