I think the white jacket with the blue stripes is really cool. I was blown away at first thinking the auction was for one jacket but it doesn't seem so high for three. Of course the reserve still hasn't been met.
I think I'd pay an extra hundred bucks or so to get CS to sign it, perhaps on the inside somewhere. Maybe it would help verify the authenticity?
Spending big money like that on a jacket is definately a passionate choice. The price is relative to what you or anyone else is willing to pay, certainly not the actual value of the item. The jackets are way out of my league but I have paid over 100 bucks for rare Hotwheels Cobra's that could be found in stores for a dollar or two.
