When you conbine the weight of the cobra to the limited amount of rear traction, your rearend will supprise you as to how much torque you can throw at it. My drag Mustang had 28 spline axles with a spool, had 460BB - 500tq at 3100 pound car on slicks, never broke. Changed motor to 514 -806 hp, 690tq car weight at 2950 pounds. Upgrades to strange 33spline with spool, never broke it. This is with the stock 8.8 rearend housing.
