I am finishing up the details on my Cardiac Kit and have discovered that the holes placed in the hood for latches have threaded inserts in them. All the latches I've seen, including the ones I bought from Finish Line, do not have threaded bodies. Does anyone know if there are latches that tread into the hood or is there some part I'm missing?

This is such a minor deal but I would like to do it right so the latches don't eventually loosen up. It seems that using the threaded insert would make it stronger but ......??

What do most kits have in the hood for latches?
