2/19/2004- Car & Driver Magazine’s Barry Winfield and a photographer from Car & Driver were at the famed Willow Springs facility on a cold wintry February Thursday with heavy winds and snow flurried conditions to test out the new Superformance Coupe for themselves. Two version of the new Coupe were brought out by Lance Stander of the Hillbank Superformance dealership in California as well as the famous and legendary Coupe designer himself, Peter Brock. Even though these were not the ideal conditions to test any vehicle in (except for maybe a Mack truck), Superformance’s Stander and legendary coupe designer Brock had no worries and were confident the car’s performance would easily shine through whether it was a pristine sunny day, or a hurricane driven monsoon. Look for a full test and report from Car & Driver this summer...
