All I can tell you is that we use the 750 vacuum secondary on all of our 351W. We build them to put out 400+ hp as our stock engine set up. Never had a problem with one to rich or acting like the carb was to large. Maybe you did not have yours set up correctly?
I would still like to know what he is trying to do and more about his engine set up.
