Tim, they (at least Jaz) makes fuel cells with sending unit provisions...that shouldn't be a problem. The only thing I hate is that most of the fuel cells have the filler right dead center of the stupid thing....so you would have to run your filler hose from the gas cap to the middle of the trunk...Even if the cell was mounted underneath, this would still kill all your trunk space.
