I think I would rig something before I would pull the tranny and change the arm....if it's a FMS clutch fork, then a FMS cable should work....Jegs has them really cheap.....

If you don't want to go that route, I would just take a washer that the end of the cable won't go through.....then take a dremel and cut a little notch in it so you can slide it over the cable....then just sit that on the other side of the clutch fork so the cable won't back through.
