I have had similar problems in the past with hydraulic clutch set ups. I have taken to pressing the clutch pressure plate forward so the bearing has more room to move during bleeding. This lets more fluid into the cylinder and get the pedal up faster. It does take two people and works better on an external cylinder but it may work on your set up as well.
