I also have a Contemporary and choose to install a shoulder harness only on the driver's side. Shelby American in Las Vegas sells a forged steel cross bar that fits "originals" and even those 4000 # cars
and amazingly also fits our copy cats! I took a picture but am having difficulty uploading. The only down side is the price which is about $300 for the bar. Best wishes!
