Tony,

A lowered ute in Australia is equivalent to a pickup (lowered suspension) in the UK, often termed a lowlux as apposed to a hilux (which often has raised suspension) - Hope that makes sense.

If you can stray away from Sydney for a while pop up north to Queensland. Unlike the UK, the more north you are in Oz the hotter it gets.

The beauty of QLD is that the climate is ideal for Cobra's 90% of the year (forget the hard or soft top).
