Default filling up the diff

Going to put some diff oil in and have just a few questions to make sure i'm doing it right...

the diff is a 1990 Ford 8.8, and it is actually empty right now, and i just wanna make sure im doing it right before i fill her up...
first, i guess im gonna put the gasket in and seal it up, but what are the torque specs for the cover bolts?, and is there a specific tightning pattern?...

second, does anyone know the exact ammount of oil to put in there?

and third, whats the best type to use?

many thanks!
