The Free Enterprise system is a wonderful thing. I salute people who ask $20K over sticker for a Thunderbird or $65K over sticker for a GT. The fact that people are actually willing to pay that type of premium is all the justification the sellers need. It's nothing more complicated than supply and demand. Harley Dealers have been charging premiums on hot products for years. Personally, I would never pay a nickel over sticker. But, obviously, some people are willing and able to pay whatever the market will bear. I look forward to avoiding those dealers like the plague when the market cools off, and buying used vehicles from the early adopters, once they're on to the next hot toy, at a greatly reduced cost.
