I can't believe you all are comparing the Ford GT and pricing with the T-bird or the Viper.

The T-Bird was dead on delivery-->one ugly a*s car IMO. The T-Bird never had the race history. The Viper may have relatively low production numbers but c'mon...the GT will probably, in all liklihood, be short lived in terms of pure numbers produced. FoMoCo's way of stealing the thunder from the C6 and C6 vert. In my mind, the extra $$$ are justifiable (if I had it) as the car seems certain to appreciate with its history. ---> notice the pricing on original GT350's and production numbers. they have a relative ceiling but look at what Ted Waitt paid for a non-original Gt500. 30years from now I would assume you get a healthy return. Unless its valuable at purchase (collectible) then its a crap shoot no matter...I plan to drive it and dog it when I have the fortunate opp. for a SPF, ERA etc.
