Default New Michelin TB Tires for the Cobra?

The April 2004 issue of the great British auto magazine, "Classic & Sports Car", tells an interesting tale in their Garage Gear column.

It seems that Michelin has re-introduced its TB tires (tyres) which had the reputation of being the ultimate track day wheel cover. These new TB's comply with current EU (European Union) regulations and they are road-legal high speed rated competiition tread that come in 13 and 15 inch diameters to fit rims from...

5 to... 13 inches in width...

Did you HEAR THAT GUYS?

The tires are period looking correct and are designed to enhance any classic car and performance sports car with competition heritage according to C&SC.

I did a little search and there are some european dealers that have the specs and fittments on these tires...

335/35 R15
295/40 R15
270/45 R15
215/55 R15

Nice wide meats for the front and the rear....

here is a URL for some fitments (it is a British supplier)...

Here is a picture of the tread pattern, notice no sniping on the shoulders...

Lets hope these make it to the USA someday...
