Lineslinger, one small but very important detail that made the difference between a marginal and a good cooling fan setup was sealing the shroud to the radiator core. My previous Cobra was a little temperature "tempermental", until one day I pulled the twin pullers off and installed some split 3/8" rubber vacuum hose around the radiator side of the shroud to seal them. Apparently the fans had been sucking part of the total air flow from around the edges rather than through the radiator...after sealing them my cooling problems were over.
