Sittin in em'
The advice about going to the show and seeing them side by side makes alot of sense.
One word of caution though. Alot of cobra's that are true to the original are not that comfortable at first. For example, your feet may cant to the left......just like in the original 427 SC's.
I thought that strange at first, but don't notice it anymore.....and since I don't notice it, I'd just as soon have that aspect of he car correct.
Everybody's choice on this is personal. In my mind the 427SC was all about stickin the biggest meanest Powered by Ford engine you could cram into a sexy little roadster. Today that's the 514 and Shell Valley has a frame and axle set up that'll handle it with a Kevlar body to boot.
That said, and even though I have hundreds of autocrossing miles under my belt........I'm sure there are plenty of guys with 351W's out there that'd run circles around me on the track..........
Mroe power to em!
