Ron - There is one 427 publicity magazine article from '66 or '67 where a radio is visible, so it was likely installed by SA or their local SA owned dealer. The black radio mounting plate that's attached to the two vertical tubes in 3240 seems to be an SA item (I've seen at least one 427 car with a cruder mounting plate). I'd like to speak with the owner, I emailed "zipzip", but did not hear back from him. As you probably know, the antennas were usually installed in the rear deck area, this is the first I've seen otherwise......
