I've used a can once. I had a large stone chip shaped like a triangle about 15mm long, 10 mm wide & 3mm thick. Can said to remove foreign object first then use the can. After taking a few layers of skin off trying to remove the bugger I filled up the tyre (ordinary tyre). Only just made it to the servo to refill it with another can & then only just made it to my inlaws house - total trip about 10km and the tyre was hot! In that case I think I should've left the chip in the tyre to act like a plug cause the hole was too big
