Guys, I am close to buying a '65 Cobra replica from Georgia. Last year I bought a '76 TR6 from Georgia that was not previously titled in Georgia and the NJDMV made me go back and get the seller to first title the car in that State and then (and only then) would they title the car for me in NJ. So here is where it gets interesting...in Georgia they did not and will not now title cars pre '67. Therefore, there is no way for me to get Georgia to title the car..all I can get is a bill of sale and I guess proof that Georgia did indeed register the car for the past 10 years. How will NJ respond to this?
