Today I drove the Cobra down to the exhaust shop and noticed my speedo turn over. Whoa I realised that I had travelled 16,000 kilometres ( 10,000 miles ) in just under six months.
Hell, I will need an engine re - build before I get it painted.
Guess I made it to be driven, and have enjoyed every day in it.
Those 1,000 k (600 mile) return trips to meetings, events etc. in Melbourne soon add up. Sunshine or rain...
Include the many times I have been caught half way between South Australia and Melbourne, with no roof in heavy rain. Just parked under bridges. Plus long drives in the sun. I can see how they added up.
Well with a new roof and paint, it will be like a new car in a month or two. Just ready for summer again.
My 3 year/100,000 k's warranty is a concern though...
Suns out tomorrow so may go for a drive
