I may be going out on a limb here, but my Backdraft does the same thing, she has only 20 miles on her. I think it is due to verry short driveshaft conbined with the tight posi-trac unit conbined with the short wheelbase conbined with the fat tires conbined with your butt almost sitting on the diff gives that problem while trying to back up slowly. It gives no problem going forward what so ever. I used some pretty nice pieces building my car, pretty much convinced it is not the motor mounts or any parts abnormalities. It has to be the "combination", really no joking!!!
My pro-street mustang had the same problem, it had a motor plate, spool in the rear with a powerglide, it to is a fairly short wheelbase car.
