The command start feature isn't really needed or even desired on a Cobra. There is no air conditioning or heater (on mine at least)to warrant a pre start. The paging alarm feature is of value however. I simply mentioned the command start feature to introduce the alarm aspect of this system. It can be used to pre-cool/warm your daily driver, lock the doors, turn on the interior/courtesy lights,open the trunk, sound the horn or activate an alarm. This same key fob can be used to activate a seperate system ie: A Cobra alarm. I believe you can use this on a manuel transmission provided that you have a neutral lock out as found on Tremecs. Obviously a system like this is not for everyone.
