The proper throwout bearing is the same as a Big-spline Toploader. As I remember it, the problem with using a "normal" lever with throwout bearing is that the pivot stand must be raised roughtly 1/2" so that the arm is positioned correctly. I also (vaguely) remember that the pivot must be re-positioned in bell housing too.

For simplicity, we use the Weber concentric bearing on all the Tremec installations. You must be carefull when you set it up, though.
