Default Mallory and Smiths Tach
Anybody figure out how to get a Hyfire tach output to work with an "older" three terminal Smiths tach?

Looks like some folks have had good luck with MSD and older Smiths tachs by using the 8920 adapter and possibly an inline capacitor.

Unfortunately, that adapter is for magnetic pickup installations which I don't have.

With my old system, the tach simply connected to the neg. side of the coil (which I can't do now with my multi-strike CD ignition).
