By the text book, I believe you will find this problem described iin laymnan terms as "solvent popping". Tom, if you were to find some bubbles that have not actually popped, pricke them with a very small hyperdermic needle, my guess is, you would get fluid from at least some of them.
Very interesting, very interesting. Not good, but interesting. As far as I know of, no recourse other than a very, very good sanding, just short of stripping all the paint and bring it back up.
If the rest of you SPF guys that have commented have the same problem, then I do believe a letter is in order. I simply can't believe that SPF will ignore this.
Quality show room paint: 10% checmicals, 50% experience, 40% Voodo!
Be interesting to try and date this. SPF may have fixed the problem a long time ago?
