Jeff,
My Lone Star has the same shocks and spring rates as Tim's does.Has 10" springs.

Your lower rear shock mounts have two mounting locations.Going to the lower hole makes about 3/4-1" difference.

What length are your springs ?
You don't want to lower it to the point you bottom the shocks out on bumps/dips.
The shocks don't have a lot of travel,work at getting the ride height in the middle of the stroke.

Of course changing your ride height means a frontend alignment and checking your pinion angle.
