Mine has settings for 160, 170, and 180. I run it at 180 as my motor makes more horsepower at 210 -220, so I installed a toggle switch to keep the fans off until the temp. gets to around 210. So depending on your motor and how it is built, you may want yours to come on at a lower temp. It seems that a lot of the people around here have theirs at around 175.
