I am of somewhat modest means (the FFR kits in the 12-15k range for the cobra are kinda my ballpark)
*I have limited fabrication skills
*I have a mig welder but am not very good
*I have a 4-car garage and an understanding wife
*I want a GT-40 "look" more than anything, 2nd choice would be a cobra clone
projects I have completed:
4cylinder fox mustang complete retrofit to 5.0/302, including full suspension, brakes, gas tank, engine/transmission, dash wiring, engine wiring harness, complete interior strip and replacement and body prep for paint (my brothers project, I lead and did roughly half the work, he's 10 years younger

, just out of HS)
my '93 mustang, heads, cam, intake, transmission swap, suspension/brake upgrades, rear end swap (spool--- shudder), nitrous, some electronics like rev limiter extension and nitrous safety stuff.
So the FFR kit(s) appeal to me as they claim no fabrication. Does that also mean no welding? I find that hard to believe.
Is there a GT-40 kit that utilizes fox mustang parts like FFR? I really, really think the Lola GT-40 chassis is the sexiest beast to ever roam the street or track--- painted in Ford Blue w/stripe what else could I want?
Sorry for possibly not reading or missing a FAQ on this topic but I scanned all the topics on the first page and it seems like most people are looking at turnkey solutions.
I want something equivalent to an FFR cobra--- but with a GT-40 shell/body.
