Default Ford 9" rearend trouble!! HELP!!

Ford 9" rearend trouble!! HELP!!

My 9" is leaking so I naturally assumed it was the gasket, but someone told me to wipe the center clean and observe where the lube is coming from. It seems as if the lube is leaking out around the bottom stud and the next stud over towards the passenger side. I have done all of the normal stuff like checking to make sure they are all tight, and they are. Does anyone know if the back end of these studs go into the lube, and if so, what do I do to stop it? Do I try to take them out and put some teflon pipe tape on them? I have never faced this issue before and am looking for some guidance.

Thanks in advance,

Rob Burton
