There has been a guy on eBay recently selling a nice girdle. I think they go for $249 or something close to that. It is rumored that the infamous X is 2% of nickle added to some FE blocks for strength. This has been beat to death on the Ford FE forum and after some blueprints and casting formulas were found and some metal testing NO traces of nickle were found in the ( x and non x) FE blocks tested. Some however insist there indeed is nickle in the X blocks. So the myth continues....... and BTW the drainback holes are on each end of the cyl head deck up by where the intake goes and the big holes inside the lifter galley. G.
