Congratulations on your purchase - they are indeed a special car and loved by most.

Regards engine choice choose whatever your budget allows. Other than this Site, I've never come across anyone who critisises what is under the bonnet.

Paint - Again personal preference. My car is both 2-pac and acrylic (cobra paints) as it had a partial respray. Most wouldn't and couldn't tell the difference. Like any paint work, its not the paint its the prep work prior to the painting.
