ERA,,, yup I know this one! Same here. Drivers side real bad, passenger side not to bad.

I had to remove the head studs AND jack up the motor on the drivers side to remove/install the head too.

By the way: What torque setting did you guys use for alloy heads? Iron heads? I torqued in three steps.
