Thanks for your input. I couldn't get much info on the engine from the guy I bought it from. He did say that it had a "wild" cam. The engine was sitting for a few months. After the
oil was changed it started right up. It had a nice lope to it. It idled fine but stepping on the gas, it bogged down. The guy who pulled it said that the carb needed to be replaced. Could that be why that one plug was clean? It was soaked in gas? I think that it was #1 plug. Could it be the fuel pump? Should I go ahead & replace that as well?
