Before you replace it few things need to be adressed before you hurt or waste your money on another sub.

1: Have you been having any problems with the amp? Like clipping or thermal shut down due to over heating. Can cause damage to internal electronics.

2: How are the subs wired? Are they bridged into one channel or are they wired right and left? If they are wired right and left try and swap your RCAs and see if the noise stays or moves with the RCA. If it moves have the amp looked at. If it stays the sub is going.

It is better to look a little closer at little things and save your self some time and a few bucks down the road.
