That's looking really good Bernie, I can't wait to see it at the nationals.

I bet it's a good feeling bolting everything back on. Like putting icing on the cake.

As for retaining the bonet scoop, I've been giving this a bit of thought lately.

I plan to use stainless button heads like Bernie has. What I'l do a little differently though is I'll use nutserts in the bonnet rather than the nylocks on the back. The Classic Revival bonet is double skined and is about 10-15mm thick where the scoop bolts on. I figure by driling carefully I'll be able to drill the outer skin and leave the iner skin intact. The hole for the scoop is molded in and has a nice neat return on the edge. I'll install the nutserts and bolt the scoop on leaving the nice looking stainless cap screws on the outside and a clean bonnet inside with no bolts visible.
