Default Lift-A-Dot install
I am currently installing a soft top using lift-a-dots. My question is regarding the post that goes into the lift-a-dot. My posts can unscrew from their base so they can be removed when the top is off.

Does the base just get pressed into a predrilled hole. It seems like they may pull out over time. I also have the posts that just screw into a pilot hole. Are those better?
