It is more valuable if it is a 4 bolt main block or the thick main 2 bolt block. Here is a link that describes the 429 SCJ.

One advantage of a vintage block is that in some states the DMV allows you to title your car to the year of your block. My SPF is title as 1970. No smog or bumper rules.
