Sounds like you all had a better time than I did this weekend.
Unfortunately after Laughlin I noticed some gear
oil leaking from my Lister. I crawled under it and discovered the tailshaft seal had almost completely backed out and when I removed it there was plenty of tailshaft bushing fragments. After putting 2 and 2 together it is clear that the folks that made my driveshaft made it too short and this basically caused the failure. Driveshaft is in the process of being redone but I am still trying to find a replacement Richmond tailshaft bushing and seal locally with no luck. I also am trying to find a bushing extractor tool so I don't have to pull the engine to fix this. If any of you have any leads let me know.
Unless things start falling into place soon I may not make it out to the Firebird/PASA event next weekend either.
