I'm curious to hear from other SPF owners that have considered/done the same. I'm sure the answer we'll hear is "Sure! Just take them off and cut them with a carbide cut-off saw. Remove the innards, then weld them back up."

Of course, that will entail a return to the Jet-Hot coating lab. But I'm thinking about going this route as well.
