Default Ford rear modifications

Hi,

I am at a crossroads on my current modification. I am removing the current live axle rear from my Everett Morrison and replacing it with a stronger unit from a 2000 Mustang GT. The problem I am having is determining the necessary width to support using the knock off style wheels. The old rear is 54 1/2 " from backing plate to backing plate and the rims used were 15" by 10" and had 6" of backspacing. If there is anyone out there who has a live axle in their Everett Morrison or comparable chassis and has knock offs I would love to get a rough measurement from you so that I don't screw up the necessary width measurements so I can use the knock offs and tires.

Thanks,

Chris
