Our prayers are with you. Sounds like you are doing
all you can and are making progress. Sometimes it
just takes time. Best of luck on your upcoming checkups
for Wyatt and that he continues to improve.

I have spent parts of the last year and a half working on
restoration projects providing fire suppression systems
for historical buildings in Kalaupapa National Park on Molokai, HI.
There are about 35 patients still living there who have
survived Hanson's disease. One patient who just turned 80
has been there since he was 17. He lost both legs to bone cancer,
has almost no fingers left, and a heart of gold. After all he has
been through his glass is still half full. I call him Speed Racer
because you won't catch him if he is in his wheel chair. For me,
he is the ultimate inspiration. I have been through a lot lately,
including prostate cancer, but having met him, there is no way I
could feel sorry for myself.

What does all this have to do with your latest post? Things are
tough for a lot of people and there aren't always answers, but I
have learned that you usually don't have to look too far to find
someone else who would gladly trade places with you. All you
can do is give it your best shot and pray.

I totally agree - Thanksgiving is the time to do just that and spend
time with relatives and friends - they aren't here forever! You gotta
love 'em while they're here!
