Many times when you R&R the float bowl, the accelerator pump arm requires re-adjusting. You want to remove all the slack in the adjuster arm by adjusting the spring loaded screw/nut assembly that pushes on the accelerator pump lever.

Holley recommends that you have .015" at WOT. I have seen some cams that would not give that much, but you really need to have "some" clearance at WOT or you will eat the pump cams up quickly.
