Hi Scott,

Venom Customs come to the rescue.

You are probably right - made worse by the fact that the scoop is so big (wide).

That is why I thought it needed to be made more rigid by strengthening the opening itself.

May still pursue the aluminium mesh idea using sikerflex to bond the top of the mesh to the underside of the scoop assuming it is strong enough to bond it.

I don't want to drill through the top of the scoop so was wondering what the best solution would be to "bond" the mesh to the top of the scoop.
