Mike:
Some interesting parallels between your Windsor and the LS6 Chevy in my Corvette. My engine is also 4.125" bore, 4" stroke, 11.1:1 C.R. The cam is a hydraulic roller 236/242/112 LSA, with .610" lift. The car dynoed at 528 RWHP and 520 RWT when it was built in late 2002. Recent advances on the intake side would give it another 20-30 HP. While the car is not emission legal (no cats), it is very streetable, and due to the efficiency of modern engine management coupled with the ultra tall 6th gear (.50 overdrive), I've achieved 26 mpg on the road and average 16-18 around town if I limit myself to only occasional insane blasts.
Your engine sounds like the one I'd build for my Cobra if I had one. I'd like to shoot for 500 HP at the wheels, which yours should approach with better exhaust breathing. I would love to see the car and learn more about the engine build. I'm only about 30 minutes away up in Gainesville: give me a call at 770-718-9885 and let's try to find a convenient time/place.
