Default Building a 331

I'm currently blueprinting an engine in hopes to build this summer. After much deliberation, i have decided to build a small block 5.0 and stroke it to 331ci (possibly D&D 331 kit) - due to the increased torque output and power potential. Im planning on using AFR185cc heads and comp cams. But this is where I need a little bit of guidance. I'm not sure how to figure out which cams to use (duration, lift etc.) It is going to be a daily driver, but i still want to put down some numbers. I want to stick with hydraulic cams, for running with solids can increase a risk of breaking parts - of which i cant afford. I will be running a 1.6 rocker ratio as to pickup more power at lower speeds. Another question is about the intake. the AFR website suggests the Victor Jr. RPM, and i have heard good reviews about it- but i have also heard the Edel RPM works a little better (and 'supposedly' drops 2-4tenths off the 5280). Any guidance, suggestions, references would be greatly appreciated
