Max, you're right, we're all dying or could tomorrow. But there is a difference.

Somehow, I don't think he thought he was "really" dying when he ordered the car....probably thought, like you, he was going to beat it, or else, enjoy the ride as long as it lasted.

The wait and BS he apparently endured is inexcusable, regardless of who is at fault. Hell, it may have even been his lawyer and his own bad judgement who are ultimately to blame. Nonetheless, we can feel bad for him without beating him up.
