Nah, that sounds like a lot of trouble. I'd say that's what they're for.....I can't think of anything else except for a driveshaft safety loop on those tabs in the back of the picture.

Do you remember how you mounted the shoulder harness? Is it mounted to the rollbar, or did you go through the bulkhead and mount in the trunk?
