when you go to your user profile screen, you have to pick a zone off of the GMT. I believe my "zone" selection is somewhere is the middle east, as that's what give me the most accurate "real time" posting time for me. If I click on the "US central time zone" then it's off by hours. I did that at first, and wondered why soo many people were posting in the middle of the night. Changed the zone in my control panel, and viola, it "matches" better. Been off by a couple of minutes, but not a big deal to me. I didn't like the 7-8 hour difference. Go to the Control panel and see if changing it there helps.
