If you can go to a NAPA or other well stocked full line auto parts house that has catalogues, you can find pictures of the various switches and the sizes and tempratures at which they open and close. It is usually in the same catalog as the sending units, brake light switches etc. Take your time. I assume you are looking for an electric fan switch, be sure and run it through a relay.
